Beautiful course very fun to learn on
I grew up playing golf at FCF, been playing there for over 40 years now & it has always been my favorite place to play. It is a beautiful, relaxed setting, & well thought out, & challenging course. Played there last Sunday, 4/2/17 and I was dismayed at the terrible condition of the course. Every green had multiple dead spots, the fringes of the greens were even worse, the fairways have little to no grass, and the sand in the traps is dark, heavy sand, & very grainy, not the white, light fluffy sand. It's a real shame to see this legendary golf course reduced to conditions worse than most municipal courses. I noticed when I played there last October is was getting rough, but I figured it was getting to the end of the season, and it would be ready to go by spring. Not sure what the problem is, lack of state funding, poor management & grounds keeping? I won't be going back until I hear someone say that the course is in better condition. It hurts to say these things about this once brilliant, proud course.

Very gorgeous Park, beautiful scenery, large water fall but best after a good rain fall. You really can't beat the amazing views and variety of hiking trails, and things to do! Very good!
Great course. Expect to spend $50 for a round with a cart. A little pricey but overall a very fun course. They also charge $10 for a rider which is a little much.
